WOODMAN POINT
This dive site has an explosion of color and marine life diversity. It provides divers with great photo opportunities. At 8m of depth there is plenty of time for you to take the perfect shot and spot the nudibranchs. There is a bit of walking involved but generally, it is an easy dive. This dive site is also commonly called the ‘ammunitions’ or ‘explosives’ jetty.

BICTON BATHS
This dive site is one of the more popular spots where you will find students learning to scuba dive. The depth can reach 17m at some point but it is quite gradual so you can keep at the shallower end to do your skills. Some curious dolphins may drop by to say ‘Hi’too. At night, this is a great site for prawning and crabbing.

BLACKWALL REACH
This site has a few wrecks to explore. At the bottom of 14m, there sits a barge, a dingy and a motorboat. These wrecks have become home for seahorses, soft corals and some fishes. This site requires some swimming. To get there, spot buoy #716 to descend, then swim west about 3 meters. That’s the first wreck.

BOYINABOAT REEF
This site is suitable for both Scuba diving and snorkeling as it lies in marine sanctuary. It is about 4 -8 meters depth with many limestone reef to explore. There are ten dive trail plaques surrounding the reef to help divers appreciate the marine ecosystems and marine life. This trail takes about 60 minutes. It is also perfect for night dives.

BELL PARK, ROCKINGHAM
This is a popular dive site for first time divers as it is a good spot to practice those skills. The dive is easy and there is about 17meters in depth. There are buoys to mark the wrecks. It is an easy swim out from shore. You will see seahorses, dolphins (sometimes), tubeworms, soft corals, sponges and other forms of marine life.

EAGLE BAY
This is a shallow dive site but it offers many caves and rocks to explore. You will see a great diversity of marine life here from zebra fish, goatfish, herring, wrasse, leatherjackets and much more. This place is perfect for a family picnic too where some can enjoy a snorkel.

BUNKER BAY – WEST POINT
This is a perfect site for scuba diving and snorkeling as it is only 4 -5 meters in depth. A variety of Wrasse are found here with much other marine life. It is an easy dive and is a great place to watch fishes interact. However, if there is north to north-west winds or heavy swells, it is best to avoid this site.

THE COOMBE
This is a good night dive spot where prawn and crab hunters favor. It is about 12 meters in depth and there are some wrecks to explore. If you are lucky, you may spot some dolphins. A easy dive for all levels.

GLYDE STREET
It is a easy dive with the depth of 13 meters. There is an artificial reef made up from tyres and a wreck. Locate buoy #435, descend and follow the line that takes you to the site. Spot the false Tasmanian blennies that live in the small holes. They are very cute. The long walk from the car park is worth it.
